Brackenwood’s range of replacement composite doors have already achieved the new standards required by Building Control Doc L1a from the 15th of June 2022. Those standards require that all doors fitted in existing dwellings must achieve a minimum U Value of 1.4 W/(m2.K).

Brackenwood’s Stainless Steel Door Stop furniture extends to polished gold, chrome and black on all handles, letterplates, knockers and numerals. The furniture fitted internally is the same colour and manufactured with a Zinc PVD finish. The handles incorporate a spring cassette to eliminate drooping handles, this has been tested to 50,000 cycles or, operating your door handle 13 times a day, every day for 10 years!

Solid Timber Core
Partnering with Masonite, Brackenwood provides its customers with a choice of quality options. One of these options, a solid timber core composite door. The timber core is 48mm thick which is 10% thicker than any other option on the market. The solid timber core composite door is finished with an ABS Skin. ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) is a highly durable finish with a 100% colour penetration. The colour penetration means that the colour is all the way through the door skin. The benefit of the colour deepness is that scratches will be hardly noticeable. ABS Skins are the ideal material for showcasing striking stunning colours. The colour of an ABS door is stunning and with increasable life like properties, the texture can easily be mistaken for living wood. Stunning composite front doors start with great materials.

The ABS Master lock comes with a £2000 lock snap guarantee. In the highly unlikely event that a burglar gets in to you home by snapping the lock, the manufacturer will give you £2000. As well as The ABS Master, Brackenwood also supply locking systems from Ultion and Yale. Burglars access homes through a door 75% of the time.
