100% - Kerb Appeal
When we cook, bathe or even breathe, we increase the water vapour levels in our homes. As saturated air contacts a cold surface, like a window, condensation forms. This dampness promotes bacterial growth and mould and can compound respiratory problems such as asthma.
Double glazed windows are typically 3-4°C warmer than those with metal spacer bars; reducing condensation by up to 80%
80% - Reduction in condensation with our windows

Aluminium or uPVC double glazed windows, which one?
It really depends on what you are looking for with your double glazing. If you have a home with small windows then you might be better off looking at Aluminium. Aluminium tends to be stronger and therefore the windows can be made slimmer. This will give you more glass area compared with uPVC.
Whilst it’s true to say that Aluminium windows are slimmer and stronger. Investment and technology have resulted in multi-chamber uPVC double glazed windows which have similar strength.
Colour, Style, texture and choice used to be limiting factors but now, you can pretty much get whatever you’re looking for in both materials.
Maybe the one plus point for uPVC is the Timber Look, in my opinion, is more like the real thing.
